But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gasteiz Uja couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Diaz Hubieta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diaz Hubieta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Txeru Marroquin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Felix Mauleon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cal FC's goalkeeper Fernando Corullon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gasteiz Uja in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Corullon saved Cal FC from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Diaz Hubieta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Txeru Marroquin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Pirro Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txeru Marroquin having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Baraquiel Cuevas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Felix Mauleon put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando Corullon. After 40 minutes, Felix Mauleon made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cal FC's Fernando Corullon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Diagur Trasgallo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Tornito FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 48th match minute, Cal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusko Gandia to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gasteiz Uja was the one to do the kick off. If Gasteiz Uja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes Tornito FC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Mauleon. Baraquiel Cuevas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txeru Marroquin having to interfere. Fernando Corullon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gasteiz Uja's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Gasteiz Uja's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Fernando Corullon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Cal FC's Pirro Dominguez got a free kick in the 68th minute. Felix Mauleon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Fernando Corullon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diagur Trasgallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Corullon having to interfere. Felix Mauleon came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fernando Corullon could save by the left post. Gasteiz Uja hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Baraquiel Cuevas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 91 in the game by Felix Mauleon from a close distance when the talented Fernando Corullon managed to make a qualified save. Cal FC's players were relieved. When the match was over Tornito FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cal FC throughout the match.
