Leizarraga Baiges's late challenge caught a Pasanaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leizarraga Baiges helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Guaguai got a freekick which was hit by Leizarraga Baiges. A collision led to Pasanaca getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Oro Robles hit a great ball. Damaso Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sedeni Villamañan in the 8th minute of the match. Santos Manjaleguas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leoncio Almenester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Guaguai's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Betzanos came free, but Leoncio Almenester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Sedeni Villamañan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaguai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sedeni Villamañan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Beltxe Trabado came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Pasanaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beltxe Trabado couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Santos Manjaleguas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Guaguai's Leizarraga Baiges got a free kick in the 29th minute. Santos Manjaleguas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sedeni Villamañan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Damaso Urdaspal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Manjaleguas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santos Manjaleguas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leoncio Almenester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Santos Manjaleguas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Leoncio Almenester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes Guaguai's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Estebano Tabernilla who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pasanaca's Estebano Tabernilla to fire away a dangerous shot which Leoncio Almenester despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Manjaleguas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santos Manjaleguas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Leoncio Almenester made a huge save. Bembe Escabi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guaguai's zone, Santos Manjaleguas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leoncio Almenester came out of the goal and Santos Manjaleguas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damaso Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Sella in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Iratze Pinedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pasanaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iratze Pinedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sedeni Villamañan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Urdaspal was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Damaso Urdaspal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sedeni Villamañan's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Santos Manjaleguas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaguai's Leoncio Almenester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leoncio Almenester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iratze Pinedo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pasanaca's goalkeeper Damaso Urdaspal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Guaguai getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Leizarraga Baiges hit a great ball. Santos Manjaleguas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Leizarraga Baiges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Pasanaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iratze Pinedo to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Alberto Sella put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Damaso Urdaspal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Guaguai could leave the field as winners, despite Pasanaca having more of the ball for most of the match.
