The supporters of Luchima FC booed when Chivinave FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eladio Luna didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Pedriza got free with Fermin Zapata in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chivinave FC's Simao Regaño got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermin Zapata made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Cristo Pedriza sent off a good shot on target. When Baltasar Justo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Luchima FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Justo couldn't finish the play. If Videl Canton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seber Castriciones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Videl Canton in the 24th minute of play. Xzavion Curbelo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xzavion Curbelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Chivinave FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzavion Curbelo to maneuver through the defense. Shantala Monsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Luchima FC's Bertin Estades tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Celino Huercanos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chivinave FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luchima FC the free kick. Celino Huercanos kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Chivinave FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Justo came free, but Seber Castriciones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Videl Canton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simao Regaño made a kick off. If Cristo Pedriza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertin Estades hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Chivinave FC's Cristo Pedriza got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Videl Canton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seber Castriciones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simao Regaño in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Simao Regaño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chivinave FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Pedriza in the 71st managed to get into a good position.
