A collision led to Bucaramanga FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Artaldo Rico hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Marracoquiel's Bartolo Vazquez tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jacinto Graells hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Ostots Doria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eztebe Lacle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Palban Gundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauro Toca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezkerra Trujillo in the 22nd minute of the match. Palban Gundin came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marracoquiel's Ostots Doria. But to his dismay, Ostots Doria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th match minute, Bucaramanga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xuoco Estebanez to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Marracoquiel got a freekick which was hit by Odon Gallarde. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quilo Acha during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bucaramanga FC booed when Marracoquiel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quilo Acha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Lauro Toca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Palban Gundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eztebe Lacle, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Gervaso Santandres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Bucaramanga FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marracoquiel were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezkerra Trujillo made a kick off. Odon Isern hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Ezkerra Trujillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Toca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezkerra Trujillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lauro Toca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eztebe Lacle struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Palban Gundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marracoquiel. 72 minutes into the match, Gervaso Santandres notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Marracoquiel's Lauro Toca. Lauro Toca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marracoquiel's Lauro Toca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Rojas in the 76th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Ezkerra Trujillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Toca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Bucaramanga FC's goalkeeper Palban Gundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ostots Doria. Marracoquiel's Eztebe Lacle got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Bucaramanga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eztebe Lacle came free, but Palban Gundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnalt Ceitegui struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Lauro Toca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bucaramanga FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eztebe Lacle in the 95th minute of play forced Bucaramanga FC's goalkeeper Palban Gundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
