Dionisio Mangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurin Millera in the 10th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, AC Calor's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Soriano came free, but Francisco Bailey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iparragirre Heyros during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dionisio Mangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurin Millera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Penaranda's Dionisio Mangas got control of the ball when Cesaro Nogro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eneto Bordales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dionisio Mangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Santos Camara fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penaranda's protests and gave Santos Camara a yellow card for diving instead. Santos Camara kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Dionisio Mangas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurin Millera's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 39 played minutes Penaranda got a freekick which was hit by Cordeara Peña. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lleir Morenas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Mangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eneto Bordales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Laurin Millera managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Calor's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurin Millera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Mangas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
