Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Leo Cemborain made the kick off in the second half. Muno Salinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mon Mejia having to interfere. Mon Mejia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nofre Palanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Vialpando, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Muno Salinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Laguardia's late challenge caught a Union atletico Maracaibo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Laguardia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Belo Espejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Jofre might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mon Mejia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anastasio Jofre ran back to his position shaking his head. Iraido Camporredondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Cemborain in the 76th minute of the match. Muno Salinas took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mon Mejia. Mon Mejia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Cemborain in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iraido Camporredondo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nofre Palanca, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 86 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mon Mejia was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mon Mejia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muno Salinas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute of the match Xinaro Valbaler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mon Mejia skillfully saved the ball. Muno Salinas struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Mon Mejia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano Fc. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Belgrano Fc had played much better football throughout.
