Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Javier Poblaciones got the match started through his kick off. Reimundo Narez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Cantero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute Augusto Cantero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reimundo Narez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Abra getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Leonardo Omente hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Renato Ruy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reimundo Narez skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Augusto Cantero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarangales's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Cantero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reimundo Narez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Bizi Casielles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ted Cortina during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Ted Cortina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Abra's Ted Cortina got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Guarangales's Augusto Cantero made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reimundo Narez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute, Isadoro Mena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reimundo Narez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 28th minute, Ted Cortina fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gelacio Barrial, passed just outside the right post. When Bizi Casielles came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Guarangales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bizi Casielles couldn't finish the play. When Guarangales's Augusto Cantero in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abra's goalie prevented a goal. Isadoro Mena struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Reimundo Narez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarangales. Reimundo Narez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Cantero in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Abra's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Cantero came free, but Reimundo Narez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bizi Casielles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Abra players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guarangales were winning 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Cantero was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Augusto Cantero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reimundo Narez. Augusto Cantero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Augusto Cantero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reimundo Narez having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Ted Cortina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gelacio Barrial. Guarangales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Cortina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When Isadoro Mena came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Guarangales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isadoro Mena couldn't finish the play. When Guarangales's Augusto Cantero in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abra's goalie prevented a goal. Renato Ruy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reimundo Narez having to interfere. When Guarangales's Augusto Cantero in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abra's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Reimundo Narez managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Guarangales's Augusto Cantero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Augusto Cantero scored 1-4 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reimundo Narez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Azibar Bolide fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abra's protests and gave Azibar Bolide a yellow card for diving instead. Guarangales's Umbruso Gandarillas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Reimundo Narez but with some difficulty. When Azibar Bolide was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. In the 82nd match minute, Abra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azibar Bolide to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Reimundo Narez managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Guarangales's Augusto Cantero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 88 in the game by Augusto Cantero from a close distance when the talented Reimundo Narez managed to make a qualified save. Abra's players were relieved. Umbruso Gandarillas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Reimundo Narez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Poblaciones hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over Guarangales could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Abra throughout the match.
