Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Maceo's Gustau Durazo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Gustau Durazo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Soter Vispieres was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After having played for 9 minutes, Vicente Villacis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urdaspal Olate's late challenge caught a Maceo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Handi Irigoras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baraquiel Mujica having to interfere. Gustau Durazo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Soter Vispieres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustau Durazo ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Villacis struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Soter Vispieres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maceo. Vicente Villacis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Soter Vispieres having to make a save. There was no doubt that Maceo were the better team. Maceo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
