Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Loramendi Ageitos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quico Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Varadero FC's Quico Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loramendi Ageitos in the 4th minute of play. Varadero FC's Gaspar Yurre got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Yurre in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ximun Malburgo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the game, Santikurtz Carda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Quico Amor. Santikurtz Carda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Varadero FC's Quico Amor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Varadero FC from getting a goal against them. Quico Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loramendi Ageitos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eleuterio Longo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximun Malburgo having to interfere. Victorino Vinas might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quico Amor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lamatilde's Loramendi Ageitos got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loramendi Ageitos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quico Amor having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loramendi Ageitos was the one to do the kick off. Victorino Vinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Quico Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Prudentio Bares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varadero FC and the Lamatilde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Varadero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudentio Bares to maneuver through the defense. Loramendi Ageitos hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loramendi Ageitos in the 64th minute of play forced Varadero FC's goalkeeper Quico Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th match minute, Varadero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guter Madariaga to maneuver through the defense. When Lamatilde's Loramendi Ageitos in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loramendi Ageitos in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quico Amor saved Varadero FC from getting behind. Eleuterio Longo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ximun Malburgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
