Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gaspar Yurre got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Valentim Ameyugo made a precise shot to the right of Quico Amor. Varadero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Valentim Ameyugo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zaragaza's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentim Ameyugo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quico Amor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentim Ameyugo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quico Amor saved Varadero FC from getting behind. Valentim Ameyugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Quico Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Varadero FC's Quico Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrio Parraga in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Varadero FC booed when Zaragaza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lohitzun Valdecañas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Yurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Valentim Ameyugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quico Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zaragaza's Adrio Parraga got a free kick in the 29th minute. Varadero FC's Quico Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentim Ameyugo in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Varadero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quin Chartuni to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Peruxu Ugarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zaragaza's supporters rose to their feet, but Peruxu Ugarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quico Amor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eleuterio Longo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Bruno Sobrefuentes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varadero FC. Quico Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Terres in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Valentim Ameyugo made the kick off in the second half. Quico Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentim Ameyugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 56 minutes, Peruxu Ugarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zaragaza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peruxu Ugarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eleuterio Longo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Varadero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Longo couldn't finish the play. Quico Amor didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Peruxu Ugarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentim Ameyugo in the 77th minute of play forced Varadero FC's goalkeeper Quico Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quin Chartuni charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quin Chartuni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Varadero FC got a freekick which was hit by Quin Chartuni. Guter Madariaga hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A hard shot 81 in the game by Peruxu Ugarte from a close distance when the talented Quico Amor managed to make a qualified save. Varadero FC's players were relieved. Teodoro Pastor charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Pastor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teodoro Pastor kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentim Ameyugo in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quico Amor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quico Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentim Ameyugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Varadero FC's zone, Peruxu Ugarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quico Amor came out of the goal and Peruxu Ugarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Sobrefuentes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Yurre's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Zaragaza's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
