After having played for 2 minutes, Ixaka Posse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagunetas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ixaka Posse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Florencio's goal looked a bit too open when Ixaka Posse came free, but Jabier Rebolledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ixaka Posse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jabier Rebolledo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ixaka Posse slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Llin Gallinas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florencio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagunetas the free kick. A collision led to Florencio getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Llin Gallinas hit a great ball. Florencio's Jabier Rebolledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ixaka Posse in the 16th minute of play. Ixaka Posse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Belarmo Aya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iratzeder Palmadas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Ixaka Posse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Ixaka Posse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagunetas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ixaka Posse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jabier Rebolledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iratzeder Palmadas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cucao Benito in the 31st minute of the match. If Belarmo Aya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jabier Rebolledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarell Acosta in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Florencio's zone, Ixaka Posse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jabier Rebolledo came out of the goal and Ixaka Posse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florencio's Jabier Rebolledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ixaka Posse in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ixaka Posse was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Phelipe Bonechea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lagunetas and the Florencio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saturnino Perea shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Iratzeder Palmadas made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Belarmo Aya sent off a good shot on target. Jabier Rebolledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordarell Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jabier Rebolledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ixaka Posse in the 67th minute of play. If Cordarell Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Florencio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Vallino to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordarell Acosta in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jabier Rebolledo saved Florencio from getting behind. Florencio's Cucao Benito got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Llin Gallinas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. In the 85th match minute, Florencio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llin Gallinas to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Florencio's goal looked a bit too open when Ixaka Posse came free, but Jabier Rebolledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ixaka Posse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jabier Rebolledo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cordarell Acosta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jabier Rebolledo was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Lagunetas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Florencio for a fine match.
