When Pitica's Medero Cañizares in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vijes's goalie prevented a goal. After 69 minutes of play, Pitica's Medero Cañizares made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Medero Cañizares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isauro Oliveros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. If Medero Cañizares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
