Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cordarrel Gavarnet got the match started through his kick off. Ubendu Gondorillas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Candido Closa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cordarrel Gavarnet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucado Galbarruri having to interfere. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tucacas's goalkeeper Candido Closa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sotero Cereijais kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Cordarrel Gavarnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucado Galbarruri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Matepantano's Lucado Galbarruri got control of the ball when Nastasio Cuenllas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Justin Ugartondo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Matepantano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justin Ugartondo couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubendu Gondorillas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Closa saved Tucacas from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Elodio Ingla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Matepantano's goalkeeper Lucado Galbarruri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nastasio Cuenllas. 35 minutes into the match, Matepantano's Justin Ugartondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Candido Closa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nastasio Cuenllas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Lucado Galbarruri made a huge save. The supporters of Tucacas booed when Matepantano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justin Ugartondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justin Ugartondo to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Elodio Ingla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tucacas's Candido Closa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Tucacas from getting a goal against them. If Justin Ugartondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Matepantano's Justin Ugartondo in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tucacas's goalie prevented a goal. Jax Mar charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jax Mar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tucacas's Jax Mar got a free kick in the 59th minute. A hard shot 63 in the game by Ubendu Gondorillas from a close distance when the talented Candido Closa managed to make a qualified save. Tucacas's players were relieved. Ubendu Gondorillas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Closa having to interfere. With a little luck, Tucacas's Candido Closa got control of the ball when Ubendu Gondorillas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match, Justin Ugartondo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Candido Closa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 75th minute, Justin Ugartondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matepantano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ruy Carriedo's late challenge caught a Matepantano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruy Carriedo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tucacas's Ruy Carriedo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Ubendu Gondorillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Ubendu Gondorillas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Candido Closa, passed just outside the right post. When Matepantano's Justin Ugartondo in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tucacas's goalie prevented a goal.
