Guillelmo Arbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Perma in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Tobar booed when Once Caldas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sancho Sotilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillelmo Arbe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Botello Jolis in the 12th minute. Ernesto Perma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillelmo Arbe having to interfere. A collision led to Tobar getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Manny Bugarin hit a great ball. Jose-Antonio Santervas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricart Hervias's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Bartoleme Arana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Once Caldas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tobar the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Once Caldas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! 35 minutes into the game, Botello Jolis lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Guillelmo Arbe. 40 minutes into the game, Egun Ceitegui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Once Caldas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tobar the free kick. After 40 played minutes Once Caldas got a freekick which was hit by Egun Ceitegui. With his leg Guillelmo Arbe managed to avoid a goal in the 49thth minute, when Tobar's Botello Jolis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

60 minutes into the match, Once Caldas's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Perma came free, but Guillelmo Arbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Sancho Sotilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Once Caldas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tobar the free kick. After 61 played minutes Once Caldas got a freekick which was hit by Sancho Sotilla. In the 70th match minute, Tobar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Bada to maneuver through the defense. Tobar's Ernesto Perma got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87thth minute of the game Botello Jolis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Once Caldas's Guillelmo Arbe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricart Hervias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jose-Antonio Santervas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Botello Jolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tobar had played much better football throughout.
