Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Junior FC's Arsenio Menchaca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Sidro Iturcha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauro Gota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Gurendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Junior FC's Santio Montero got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, Junior FC's Arsenio Menchaca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Xaime Vara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mauro Gota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Gota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xaime Vara's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Xaime Vara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Royal Zaga Club's goalkeeper Micael Ezquerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miliano Ezquerra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidro Iturcha in the 35th minute of play forced Royal Zaga Club's goalkeeper Micael Ezquerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Junior FC's Mauro Gota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cerilo Roda in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match, Miliano Ezquerra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Micael Ezquerra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 42nd minute, Xaime Vara made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Gota. Junior FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sidro Iturcha took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Micael Ezquerra. Micael Ezquerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xaime Vara to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Junior FC's goalkeeper Mauro Gota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute Cerilo Roda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Gota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldinho Tegeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldinho Tegeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Junior FC's Ronaldinho Tegeiro got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Junior FC booed when Royal Zaga Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seme Virues didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Arsenio Menchaca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Micael Ezquerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Micael Ezquerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arsenio Menchaca went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the match, Seme Virues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Gota. Junior FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seme Virues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Xaime Vara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Ciro Gurendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Zaga Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Gurendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xaime Vara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Gota having to interfere. Phelipe Zuloaga kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Micael Ezquerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Menchaca in the 90th minute of the match. Xaime Vara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Mauro Gota skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miliano Ezquerra in the 98th minute of play forced Royal Zaga Club's goalkeeper Micael Ezquerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
