Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Porujema FC's Chayo Piñon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, one of Porujema FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Porujema FC. In the 9th minute, Chayo Ceballos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Porujema FC's Juan-Alfredo Reigadas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Porujema FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Porujema FC's Juan-Alfredo Reigadas got control of the ball when Miguel Mugica tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Chayo Ceballos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Ascencio Campomanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Manu Zugasti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colon Cando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Guete struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Juan-Alfredo Reigadas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for America de Cali. After a rather tough play, Porujema FC's Bieito Torcida got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Chayo Ceballos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Alfredo Reigadas having to interfere. Porujema FC's Juan-Alfredo Reigadas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Guete in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Avienzo in the 28th minute of play forced America de Cali's goalkeeper Colon Cando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan-Alfredo Reigadas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chayo Ceballos's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Bieito Torcida notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of America de Cali's Colon Cando. Colon Cando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of America de Cali booed when Porujema FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bieito Torcida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes, Joaquin Avienzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porujema FC and the America de Cali players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joaquin Avienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Osvaldo Guete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manu Zugasti scored 1-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Colon Cando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chayo Ceballos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Porujema FC's Joaquin Avienzo got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Porujema FC's zone, Miguel Mugica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan-Alfredo Reigadas came out of the goal and Miguel Mugica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, America de Cali's goalkeeper Colon Cando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bieito Torcida. Colon Cando made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Bieito Torcida sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, America de Cali's Cristobal Runs got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of America de Cali booed when Porujema FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Cubilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Firmo Uribizalgo came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the America de Cali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Firmo Uribizalgo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Porujema FC's zone, Chayo Ceballos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan-Alfredo Reigadas came out of the goal and Chayo Ceballos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. America de Cali's Colon Cando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chayo Piñon in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Bieito Torcida reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Colon Cando. The goal made the score 1-3. After a rather tough play, Porujema FC's Joaquin Avienzo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Porujema FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Guete came free, but Juan-Alfredo Reigadas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bieito Torcida was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Porujema FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Porujema FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
