The goal made the score 1-0. Colon Cando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Lamboy in the 9th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, America de Cali's goalkeeper Colon Cando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cruz Neyda. In the 22nd play minute Silvestre Queto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Colon Cando. 3-0. Silvestre Queto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 25th playminute. The supporters of AXEL F.C booed when America de Cali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chayo Ceballos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, America de Cali's goalkeeper Colon Cando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Queto. Silvestre Queto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Colon Cando made a huge save. After having played for 35 minutes, Chayo Ceballos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. America de Cali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chayo Ceballos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jakue Argos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Mugica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Miguel Mugica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Lamboy in the 54th minute of play forced America de Cali's goalkeeper Colon Cando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chayo Ceballos in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakue Argos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute America de Cali were awarded a corner. Firmo Uribizalgo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Firmo Uribizalgo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AXEL F.C's Jakue Argos did a great save. 58 minutes into the match, America de Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Lamboy came free, but Colon Cando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the America de Cali defense, Gabriel Lamboy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Colon Cando. The America de Cali fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colon Cando should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, America de Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Savion Vinayo came free, but Colon Cando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Firmo Uribizalgo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colon Cando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz Neyda, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Colon Cando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Lamboy in the 74th minute of the match. After 75 minutes of play, AXEL F.C's Cruz Neyda made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Colon Cando was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for America de Cali! America de Cali:s Colon Cando showed great skill when he stopped Peter Prat:s penalty. The excitement rose when AXEL F.C's Peter Prat after 82 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for America de Cali's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 8-0. In the 85th match minute, America de Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Firmo Uribizalgo to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes, AXEL F.C's Peter Prat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Colon Cando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AXEL F.C reached it. Colon Cando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Lamboy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Lamboy kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Miguel Mugicas short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Jakue Argos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Colon Cando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Queto, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Eguen Berrueta hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Jakue Argos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firmo Uribizalgo in the 99th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AXEL F.C fully deserved thier win.
