A collision led to Barlovento FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sancho Frexes hit a great ball. Bizen Mujica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blasi Mosquera in the 8th minute of play. Sustrai Quetara hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Bizen Mujica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Llopiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sancho Frexes fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barlovento FC's protests and gave Sancho Frexes a yellow card for diving instead. Sancho Frexes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Mario Xixons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barlovento FC's Frasco Sarricolea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Xixons in the 28th minute of play. Luis Llopiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bizen Mujica having to interfere. Bizen Mujica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calisto Brena in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Luis Llopiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bizen Mujica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Barlovento FC booed when Zoncolan F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurentzi Llarena didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Zoncolan F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barlovento FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Xixons made a kick off. Bizen Mujica made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Tancredo Seber sent off a good shot on target. Bizen Mujica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tancredo Seber in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes Barlovento FC got a freekick which was hit by Sancho Frexes. 61 minutes into the match, Barlovento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Xixons came free, but Frasco Sarricolea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cruz Telo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frasco Sarricolea having to interfere. Mario Xixons struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Frasco Sarricolea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zoncolan F.C. The supporters of Barlovento FC booed when Zoncolan F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xabat Curiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bizen Mujica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Llopiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Mario Xixons's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frasco Sarricolea was relentless in the 88th minute of the game.
