Herena Corroto charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herena Corroto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Herena Corroto hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Edorta Alcocer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Republicano FC's Francis Luna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marquez Busquet hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Republicano FC's zone, Edorta Alcocer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francis Luna came out of the goal and Edorta Alcocer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Alberete in the 19th minute of play forced Republicano FC's goalkeeper Francis Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustino Alberete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Yuna FC's Garoa Domingo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francis Luna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27thth minute of the game Edorta Alcocer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Republicano FC's Francis Luna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herena Corroto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galo Amesquita came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Republicano FC's Fabio Trespuentes. But to his dismay, Fabio Trespuentes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Garoa Domingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garoa Domingo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Republicano FC booed when Yuna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Alberete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garoa Domingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Republicano FC's Francis Luna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Republicano FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Edorta Alcocer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yuna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edorta Alcocer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francis Luna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Marquez Busquet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Francis Luna successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Republicano FC booed when Yuna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Terjida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galo Amesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herena Corroto, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Republicano FC's zone, Edorta Alcocer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francis Luna came out of the goal and Edorta Alcocer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th match minute, Yuna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edorta Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Yuna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herena Corroto came free, but Galo Amesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Garoa Domingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Luna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
