The corner ended in Darien Valea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Republicano FC's Francis Luna did a great save. In the 11th match minute, Republicano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquez Busquet to maneuver through the defense. Republicano FC's Gorbea Cobredo pulled a muscle in his back after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Darien Valea's late challenge caught a Republicano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darien Valea helped the player get up and apologised. Gitano Gaceo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Francis Luna made a huge save. Fabio Trespuentes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Minachal FC's Darien Valea in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Republicano FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cutberto Iribarren came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Republicano FC's Fabio Trespuentes. But to his dismay, Fabio Trespuentes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Gitano Gaceo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Minachal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chumo Velamines to maneuver through the defense. Cutberto Iribarren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Trespuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gitano Gaceo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Francis Luna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minachal FC. Darien Valea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Luna having to interfere. The supporters of Minachal FC booed when Republicano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquez Busquet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darien Valea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darien Valea was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Marquez Busquet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Republicano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquez Busquet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cutberto Iribarren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richie Ruisaez's late challenge caught a Minachal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 54th match minute, Republicano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Ruisaez to maneuver through the defense. Francis Luna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darien Valea in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Marquez Busquet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darien Valea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Luna having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Fabio Trespuentes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gitano Gaceo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Luna having to interfere. Republicano FC's Francis Luna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gitano Gaceo in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Darien Valea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francis Luna was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Darien Valea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gitano Gaceo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gitano Gaceo in the 90th minute of play forced Republicano FC's goalkeeper Francis Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darien Valea in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francis Luna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 played minutes Republicano FC got a freekick which was hit by Marquez Busquet. Darien Valea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Francis Luna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
