Purruruhu's Duarte Lazcano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perrando Zadaya in the 41st minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
After 55 played minutes Purruruhu got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Torneira. After 58 minutes Purruruhu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaur Torra who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Tibalt Betancia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Tibalt Betancia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tibalt Betancia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Lazcano having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Perrando Zadaya reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Duarte Lazcano. The goal made the score 0-2. Tibalt Betancia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Lazcano having to interfere. REAL MADRID FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
