With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidele Abechuco in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josu Hortuño saved Pacomio from getting behind. When Roi Trapiella fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pacomio's protests and gave Roi Trapiella a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Milan booed when Pacomio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roi Trapiella didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Polo Mambliga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Polo Mambliga to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Pacomio's Josu Hortuño got control of the ball when Venerando Asenjo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Polo Mambliga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venerando Asenjo scored 0-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josu Hortuño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
