In the 5th match minute, Chaguala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todor Anaya to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Garaona Lastra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donio Marrero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Fiz Icazate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donio Marrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector-Luis Pumar in the 12th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Virila Caroso took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gian-Carlo Fonte to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustacio Candelaria during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chaguala's Eustacio Candelaria got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes, Laveranta FC's Garaona Lastra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donio Marrero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laveranta FC reached it. Gian-Carlo Fonte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hondo Potes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Virila Caroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gian-Carlo Fonte was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Hondo Potes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laveranta FC's Fiz Icazate got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 48 minutes, Hondo Potes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaguala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hondo Potes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
Donio Marrero made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Eufemio Beaga sent off a good shot on target. 53 minutes into the match, Chaguala's goalkeeper Donio Marrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector-Luis Pumar. If Hector-Luis Pumar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58thth minute of the game Hondo Potes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laveranta FC's Gian-Carlo Fonte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chaguala's Hondo Potes got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hondo Potes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gian-Carlo Fonte having to interfere. Virila Caroso struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Gian-Carlo Fonte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaguala. The Laveranta FC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Laveranta FC's Hector-Luis Pumar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gian-Carlo Fonte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hondo Potes went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Laveranta FC booed when Chaguala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leocadio Viramontez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donio Marrero came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Laveranta FC's Fiz Icazate. But to his dismay, Fiz Icazate quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After some careless play in the Chaguala defense, Hector-Luis Pumar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donio Marrero. The Chaguala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donio Marrero should have stopped the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Chaguala's goalkeeper Donio Marrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector-Luis Pumar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Laveranta FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
