Tuste Villasante charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tuste Villasante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tuste Villasante hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sayveon Buedo got free with Xanti Montalban in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rik Perlacia in the 16th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Xanti Montalban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Sayveon Buedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merratapush FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sayveon Buedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xanti Montalban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Merratapush FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haimar Reboyras came free, but Gilesindo Pedron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavion Bizoso's late challenge caught a Merratapush FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavion Bizoso helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Xavion Bizoso. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Xanti Montalban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sayveon Buedo got free with Xanti Montalban in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes, Raphael Cotillos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the Merratapush FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raphael Cotillos kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Inocencio Envito struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Gilesindo Pedron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. The audience was convinced that Xavion Bizoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilesindo Pedron was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 36 minutes, Xavion Bizoso made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Merratapush FC's Gilesindo Pedron tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Colombia's Haimar Reboyras in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merratapush FC's goalie prevented a goal. Inocencio Envito kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Colombia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xavion Bizoso was the one to do the kick off. Rik Perlacia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merratapush FC's goalkeeper Gilesindo Pedron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Ponce Guillamon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Merratapush FC's Gilesindo Pedron didn't even have to move. Gilesindo Pedron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavion Bizoso in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Xavion Bizoso got a free kick in the 90th minute. Merratapush FC's Sayveon Buedo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haimar Reboyras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haimar Reboyras was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Colombia played a much better game than Merratapush FC and deserved their victory. The Merratapush FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
