Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Merratapush FC's Rik Perlacia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Desire Mauriz made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cristo Valenzuela sent off a good shot on target. Vincent Alcantara hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Sayveon Buedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desire Mauriz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rik Perlacia's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Santxo Baldonado hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jax Incera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Merratapush FC's zone, Silvino Loizaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilesindo Pedron came out of the goal and Silvino Loizaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Valenzuela during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Merratapush FC's Cristo Valenzuela got a free kick in the 19th minute. Silvino Loizaga scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilesindo Pedron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sayveon Buedos short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Desire Mauriz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Silvino Loizaga got in the 28th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gilesindo Pedron handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. During the 30th minute of the match Cristo Valenzuela completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cristo Valenzuela a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Guarnal FC booed when Merratapush FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Valenzuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience cheered when Ceferino Lagunez's long shot passed Gilesindo Pedron's right side. It was 0-2, 31 minutes into the match. Gilesindo Pedron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvino Loizaga in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Vincent Alcantara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Silvino Loizaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Guarnal FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvino Loizaga to make the kick off. Silvino Loizaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilesindo Pedron having to interfere. A collision led to Merratapush FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Paul Loaces hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Silvino Loizaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilesindo Pedron was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After having played for 61 minutes, Jax Incera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarnal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jax Incera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guarnal FC's Silvino Loizaga got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 66 minutes, Silvino Loizaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarnal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvino Loizaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvino Loizaga in the 69th minute of play forced Merratapush FC's goalkeeper Gilesindo Pedron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilesindo Pedron didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Silvino Loizaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilesindo Pedron was a little too slow when Silvino Loizaga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-4. Silvino Loizaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gilesindo Pedron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Merratapush FC's Sayveon Buedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Desire Mauriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The Merratapush FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guarnal FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
