After having played for 24 minutes, Fidencio Urroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sampues FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidencio Urroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Fidencio Urroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerano Marban was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Estavan Carbajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Rodil having to interfere. Jerano Marban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidencio Urroz in the 40th minute of the match. If Gaitano Betancia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cruces FC's Emenon Cordoba got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Gaitano Betancia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerano Marban was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. A collision led to Cruces FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Edilberto Albino hit a great ball. The Cruces FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half.
