Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jacinto Marron took the kick off in the first half of the match. Santiago Escalada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Armando Lino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Victor Cancela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macuira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Cancela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zaquiel Gondian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lopes Garro in the 9th minute of the match. Diegotxe Ali hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cotoca FC booed when Macuira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diegotxe Ali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Lino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Marron, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Armando Lino came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cotoca FC's Santiago Escalada. But to his dismay, Santiago Escalada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Armando Lino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Marron in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Marron in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Lino saved Macuira from getting behind. When Victor Cancela came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Macuira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Cancela couldn't finish the play. In the 37th match minute, Cotoca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernando Buiza to maneuver through the defense. Victor Cancela struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Zaquiel Gondian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macuira. Victor Cancela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zaquiel Gondian having to interfere. Salomon Parraga kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Victor Cancela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Zaquiel Gondian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lopes Garro to strike the kick off in the second half. After 62 played minutes Cotoca FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Bañuelos. After a rather tough play, Cotoca FC's Elazar Betancur got a free kick in the 65th minute. A collision led to Cotoca FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Salomon Parraga hit a great ball. Zaquiel Gondian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lopes Garro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Cotoca FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Alvaro. 72 minutes into the match, Macuira's Lopes Garro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zaquiel Gondian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lopes Garro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Lopes Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zaquiel Gondian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cotoca FC's goalkeeper Zaquiel Gondian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Macuira's Victor Cancela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zaquiel Gondian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Armando Lino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Marron, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Macuira fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cotoca FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
