In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Millonarios FC's goalkeeper Evaristo Beytia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Seme Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Evaristo Beytia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Txeru Cadorniga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleder Vilanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darien Bien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipillo Zorrilla in the 24th minute of play forced Nauca's goalkeeper Eleder Vilanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xzaiver Saens kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Felipillo Zorrilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seme Flors short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Evaristo Beytia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Millonarios FC's Orain Leis got a free kick in the 35th minute. Nauca's Ler Aristeguieta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Millonarios FC. If Felipillo Zorrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Nauca's goal looked a bit too open when Txeru Cadorniga came free, but Eleder Vilanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Millonarios FC's Txeru Cadorniga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eleder Vilanova narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darien Bien was the one to do the kick off. Xzaiver Saens's late challenge caught a Millonarios FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xzaiver Saens helped the player get up and apologised. Xzaiver Saens kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Felipillo Zorrilla came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eleder Vilanova could save by the left post. With a little luck, Nauca's Eleder Vilanova got control of the ball when Felipillo Zorrilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mikel Ursueguia kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Darien Bien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nauca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Seme Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Ler Aristeguieta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Millonarios FC's Felipillo Zorrilla got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipillo Zorrilla in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eleder Vilanova, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd match minute, Millonarios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikel Ursueguia to maneuver through the defense. Felipillo Zorrilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipillo Zorrilla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Eleder Vilanova skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 90 minutes of play Nauca's Xzaiver Saens was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 90th minute, Xzaiver Saens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleder Vilanova made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipillo Zorrilla in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nauca fans cheered their team off the field, for while Millonarios FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
