Tulio Pola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todor Herce in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Martinez Camus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ituango FC's Laurin Mezcano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Arnalt Ratra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ituango FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnalt Ratra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tulio Pola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnalt Ratra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martinez Camus charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martinez Camus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Todor Herce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute of the match Rolando Abendaño sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurin Mezcano skillfully saved the ball. Rogelio Arrate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ituango FC's Mantzio Corbella got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Martxelin Urtaran fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ituango FC's protests and gave Martxelin Urtaran a yellow card for diving instead. Laurin Mezcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martinez Camus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Iturri Alaniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnalt Ratra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 39th playminute. Arnalt Ratra came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tulio Pola could save by the left post. After 47 minutes of play, Ituango FC's Arnalt Ratra made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tulio Pola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Todor Herce to make the kick off. After 60 played minutes Caquetal FC got a freekick which was hit by Pitin Eleizalde. In the 66th minute, Azubeli Tendiero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caquetal FC's Tulio Pola didn't even have to move. The supporters of Ituango FC booed when Caquetal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Esterina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Pitin Eleizalde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Todor Herce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tulio Pola was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Martinez Camus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Gerazan Alaejos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ituango FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caquetal FC the free kick. Ituango FC's Todor Herce got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ituango FC had played much better football throughout.
