The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Colemacho's goal looked a bit too open when Vitin Tuesta came free, but Gregorio Arzube reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bihar Foyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitin Tuesta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gregorio Arzube. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Tapitas Fútbol Club's Barea Ojea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eutor Arizmendi in the 11th minute of play. If Bihar Foyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tapitas Fútbol Club's Paolo Munozcano got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bihar Foyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Arzube made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Bihar Foyo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Colemacho's Chap Aniego got a free kick in the 34th minute. Eneko Mimenza's late challenge caught a Tapitas Fútbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eneko Mimenza helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Colemacho got a freekick which was hit by Eneko Mimenza. If Vitin Tuesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Bihar Foyo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Colemacho's Gregorio Arzube. Gregorio Arzube was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes into the game, Paulino Cueva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colemacho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapitas Fútbol Club the free kick. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Colemacho! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eutor Arizmendi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Froylan Balerdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Barea Ojea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Vitin Tuesta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregorio Arzube was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0.
