After a rather tough play, Yerbabuena's Caracakingo Remon got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Xencio Zahonero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yerbabuena's Ruperto Cires didn't even have to move. Ruperto Cires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitin Tuesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yerbabuena's Ruperto Cires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Yerbabuena from getting a goal against them. Patrido Aparicio's late challenge caught a Tapitas Fútbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrido Aparicio helped the player get up and apologised. Bihar Foyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bihar Foyo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Tapitas Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bihar Foyo couldn't finish the play. Tapitas Fútbol Club's Barea Ojea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeruko Coque in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Vitin Tuesta notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Yerbabuena's Ruperto Cires. Ruperto Cires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christiano Capellan might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barea Ojea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christiano Capellan ran back to his position shaking his head. When Vitin Tuesta came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Tapitas Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitin Tuesta couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Yerbabuena's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bihar Foyo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Christiano Capellan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute, Paolo Munozcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Yerbabuena's Melchazadec Santisteban broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Christiano Capellan made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tapitas Fútbol Club booed when Yerbabuena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rojelio Cendegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Capellan in the 58th minute of play forced Tapitas Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Barea Ojea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Yerbabuena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rojelio Cendegui to maneuver through the defense. If Vitin Tuesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Milio Sarasua hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Vitin Tuesta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Cires was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tapitas Fútbol Club's zone, Zeruko Coque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barea Ojea came out of the goal and Zeruko Coque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christiano Capellan in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barea Ojea saved Tapitas Fútbol Club from getting behind. Zeruko Coque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barea Ojea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Patrido Aparicio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitin Tuesta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Cires having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Yerbabuena's Christiano Capellan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barea Ojea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christiano Capellan struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Barea Ojea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yerbabuena. Gudesteo Suazo charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gudesteo Suazo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Tapitas Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gudesteo Suazo to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Zeruko Coque notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Tapitas Fútbol Club's Barea Ojea. Barea Ojea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barea Ojea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Capellan in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tapitas Fútbol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yerbabuena had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
