After 9 minutes of play, Sotelo's Enmanuel Galarza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raymundo Temiño was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xandro Gorbin scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raymundo Temiño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raymundo Temiño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xandro Gorbin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillelmus Hoyo got free with Norino Dragranda in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renaldo Guibar hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Hegoi Iriusta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Norino Dragranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raymundo Temiño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomi Perdiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raymundo Temiño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bizen Corcoba in the 26th minute of play. Montez Cortada's late challenge caught a Tausa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Montez Cortada helped the player get up and apologised. Montez Cortada hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sotelo booed when Tausa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fero Ibias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Ado Zurbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tausa FC's zone, Montez Cortada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymundo Temiño came out of the goal and Montez Cortada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Tomi Perdiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raymundo Temiño. Tausa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomi Perdiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tomi Perdiz made the kick off in the second half. Quirce Aleja's late challenge caught a Tausa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quirce Aleja helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 59 minutes, Guillelmus Hoyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tausa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillelmus Hoyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tausa FC's zone, Xandro Gorbin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymundo Temiño came out of the goal and Xandro Gorbin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raymundo Temiño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomi Perdiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tausa FC's Raymundo Temiño got control of the ball when Xandro Gorbin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Romelio Serrana notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Sotelo's Norino Dragranda. Norino Dragranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the match, Tausa FC's Romelio Serrana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norino Dragranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sotelo defense, Romelio Serrana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norino Dragranda. The Sotelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norino Dragranda should have stopped the shot. Norino Dragranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillelmus Hoyo in the 80th minute of the match. Xandro Gorbin scored 2-5 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raymundo Temiño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enmanuel Galarza hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match Reynardo Amarita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norino Dragranda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Sotelo's goal looked a bit too open when Guillelmus Hoyo came free, but Norino Dragranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norino Dragranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillelmus Hoyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the match was over Sotelo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tausa FC throughout the match.
