Cedro Centeñes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xandro Gorbin in the 3rd minute of play. Wolves FC's Adrio Piñera got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute Renaldo Guibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedro Centeñes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cedro Centeñes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomi Perdiz in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Wolves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomi Perdiz came free, but Cedro Centeñes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Wolves FC defense, Tomi Perdiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cedro Centeñes. The Wolves FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cedro Centeñes should have stopped the shot. Cedro Centeñes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomi Perdiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Cedro Centeñes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enmanuel Galarza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Wolves FC booed when Sotelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renaldo Guibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xandro Gorbin in the 44th minute of play forced Wolves FC's goalkeeper Cedro Centeñes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norino Dragranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrio Piñera in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tomi Perdiz made the kick off in the second half. If Evaristo Isurieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Wolves FC's Evaristo Isurieta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norino Dragranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evaristo Isurieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norino Dragranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Norino Dragranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donatello Digon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomi Perdiz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Sotelo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sotelo's zone, Donatello Digon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norino Dragranda came out of the goal and Donatello Digon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hegoi Lagos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Norino Dragranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Sotelo's goal looked a bit too open when Donatello Digon came free, but Norino Dragranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomi Perdiz struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Cedro Centeñes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sotelo. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC's Donatello Digon got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Cedro Centeñes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Montez Cortada in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Enmanuel Galarza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Adrio Piñera came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Wolves FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrio Piñera couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Wolves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomi Perdiz came free, but Cedro Centeñes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Sotelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomi Perdiz to maneuver through the defense.
