Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Waldir Yngles kicked off to start the match. Ximenes Ubierna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevao Nobal in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevao Nobal in the 9th minute of play forced Unguia FC's goalkeeper Ximenes Ubierna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Licerio Ozollo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Hoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Licerio Ozollo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Hoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With his leg Ximenes Ubierna managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Julepa FC's Estevao Nobal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the game, Alberto Calva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Julepa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unguia FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Yngles in the 24th minute of play forced Julepa FC's goalkeeper Licerio Ozollo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Estevao Nobal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ximenes Ubierna. Estevao Nobal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Julepa FC booed when Unguia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Canor Sierra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th play minute Leandro Salazar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ximenes Ubierna. 2-0. Estevao Nobal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Estevao Nobal made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Julepa FC booed when Unguia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Cismado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Unguia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Estevao Nobal came free, but Ximenes Ubierna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Leandro Salazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Julepa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Salazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ximenes Ubierna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevao Nobal in the 56th minute of play. Leandro Salazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ximenes Ubierna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Unguia FC defense, Estevao Nobal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ximenes Ubierna. The Unguia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ximenes Ubierna should have stopped the shot. Unguia FC's Ximenes Ubierna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estevao Nobal in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Unguia FC's zone, Estevao Nobal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ximenes Ubierna came out of the goal and Estevao Nobal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arnulfo Hoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Unguia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Salazar came free, but Ximenes Ubierna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Estevao Nobal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julepa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Estevao Nobal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ximenes Ubierna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leandro Salazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ximenes Ubierna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estevao Nobal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximenes Ubierna having to interfere. Estevao Nobal might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ximenes Ubierna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Estevao Nobal ran back to his position shaking his head. Ximenes Ubierna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estevao Nobal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Julepa FC had played much better football throughout.
