Halcones dorados FC's Ronaldo Dosal got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Alessandro Raigadas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the game's 8th minute Halcones dorados FC's Goncalve Isazi took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Vitor Maestu and thus the score was 0-1. Vitor Maestu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Dosal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th match minute, Halcones dorados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erlantz Salazano to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldo Dosal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitor Maestu having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Escalones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximenez Olmo to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Ronaldo Dosal made a precise shot to the right of Vitor Maestu. Escalones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Erlantz Salazano hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Escalones's Juan-Carlos Valverde broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 45th minute, Ronaldo Dosal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Diego Castresana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Castresana to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynardo Tariego during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ximenez Olmo's late challenge caught a Halcones dorados FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ximenez Olmo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Ximenez Olmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beti Zalaca kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Ronaldo Dosal came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Halcones dorados FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Dosal couldn't finish the play. Diego Castresana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitor Maestu having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Escalones's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Castresana came free, but Vitor Maestu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Halcones dorados FC's Ronaldo Dosal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitor Maestu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vitor Maestu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Castresana, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Diego Castresana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitor Maestu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Ronaldo Dosal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitor Maestu having to interfere. Halcones dorados FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
