Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cefero Maneiro started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonadona Cerredo in the 4th minute of play forced Yutao's goalkeeper Eugenio Matuta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Yanancha FC's goalkeeper Bras Ompanera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cisco Morillas. Cefero Maneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bras Ompanera having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bonadona Cerredo in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Matuta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Bonadona Cerredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Matuta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Yutao booed when Yanancha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eztebe Pozos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
In the 54th minute, Cisco Morillas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
