Refugio Robres's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Bras Ompanera on his right side and into the goal. 17 minutes into the game it was 0-1. Bras Ompanera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Artache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nacho Artache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Ariztimuño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonadona Cerredo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Yanancha FC's zone, Nacho Artache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bras Ompanera came out of the goal and Nacho Artache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd match minute, Yanancha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eztebe Pozos to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Ariztimuño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bras Ompanera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nacho Artache came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Arizona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nacho Artache couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Eztebe Pozos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luciano Ariztimuño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Nacho Artache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bras Ompanera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Denis Naveros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Ariztimuño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bras Ompanera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Yanancha FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arizona were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonadona Cerredo was the one to do the kick off. Luciano Ariztimuño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bras Ompanera having to interfere. Bras Ompanera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Ariztimuño in the 62nd minute. Luciano Ariztimuño scored 0-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bras Ompanera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luciano Ariztimuño struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Bras Ompanera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arizona. Luciano Ariztimuño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Bras Ompanera made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Yanancha FC's zone, Luciano Ariztimuño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bras Ompanera came out of the goal and Luciano Ariztimuño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Arizona's Cugat Honorato got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Yanancha FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arizona were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
