When Edilberto Basaran fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mayorca's protests and gave Edilberto Basaran a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Mayorca got a freekick which was hit by Edilberto Basaran. Jayvier Cifontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwardo Chavarre in the 27th minute of the match. Jago Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jayvier Cifontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jayvier Cifontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwardo Chavarre, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Jago Puebla made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Nuxila Velo sent off a good shot on target. Mayorca's Vitin Casanoves suffered a sore thigh after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ilazki Olazabal charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilazki Olazabal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Ilazki Olazabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuxila Velo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jago Puebla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Mayorca's Jayvier Cifontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lalo Cadanes in the 42nd minute of play. Jago Puebla made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Nuxila Velo sent off a good shot on target. Nuxila Velo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jago Puebla having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edwardo Chavarre to make the kick off. Atakatna's Lalo Cadanes got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edwardo Chavarre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jayvier Cifontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Atakatna's goal looked a bit too open when Nuxila Velo came free, but Jago Puebla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xalbador Caldevila hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Nuxila Velo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jago Puebla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 68 in the game by Lalo Cadanes from a close distance when the talented Jayvier Cifontes managed to make a qualified save. Mayorca's players were relieved. In the 72nd minute, Nuxila Velo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mayorca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 82 minutes into the game, Mayorca's Martino Quiroga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jago Puebla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Mayorca's Nuxila Velo in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atakatna's goalie prevented a goal. In the 97thth minute of the game Nuxila Velo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atakatna's Jago Puebla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mayorca were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atakatna for a fine match.
