Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 8th minute, Balcones FC's Gutxi Sigüenza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vennancio Mendiola. Vennancio Mendiola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gutxi Sigüenza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atlético Junior's Vennancio Mendiola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gutxi Sigüenza in the 18th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Balcones FC got a freekick which was hit by Frechoso Urones. After 22 played minutes, Atlético Junior's Gaston Beneitez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xulio Goiri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Junior reached it. Gutxi Sigüenza struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Vennancio Mendiola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balcones FC. Gutxi Sigüenza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vennancio Mendiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Gutxi Sigüenza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vennancio Mendiola, 2-0. If Mingo Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Atlético Junior getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Colon Arandajo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Balcones FC's Flavio Merodio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Atlético Junior booed when Balcones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gagriel Acutain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Roque Azpeitia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Junior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Azpeitia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Gutxi Sigüenza made the kick off in the second half. Gaufred Letran hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Balcones FC's Mingo Sanches in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Junior's goalie prevented a goal. Vennancio Mendiola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mingo Sanches's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Balcones FC's Xulio Goiri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Azpeitia in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Balcones FC's zone, Amado Pareja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xulio Goiri came out of the goal and Amado Pareja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, Balcones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Merodio to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Balcones FC! The goalkeeper, Xulio Goiri, was totally fooled by Atlético Junior's Gaston Beneitez, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, Balcones FC's Xulio Goiri got control of the ball when Amado Pareja tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roque Azpeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Xulio Goiri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Amado Pareja made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Balcones FC's Xulio Goiri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mingo Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Amado Pareja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Junior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Pareja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Balcones FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
