Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Turbaquito's Florinio Gallerreta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Cayo Bravo fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turbaquito's protests and gave Cayo Bravo a yellow card for diving instead. Florinio Gallerreta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gomez Rodero came out and tried to block the shot, but Florinio Gallerreta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 15th minute, Pello Mediavilla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froylan Oñatibia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Florinio Gallerreta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gomez Rodero. The goal made the score 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cuchara's zone, Florinio Gallerreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gomez Rodero came out of the goal and Florinio Gallerreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Florinio Gallerreta came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Turbaquito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florinio Gallerreta couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cuchara booed when Turbaquito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifaco Narez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pello Mediavilla came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cuchara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pello Mediavilla couldn't finish the play. If Osmundo Rivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Turbaquito's Urbes Urtiaga in 47 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Gomez Rodero guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pello Mediavilla was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Cuchara getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gamus Horna hit a great ball. If Pello Mediavilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernanco Fuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Froylan Oñatibia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Florinio Gallerreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gomez Rodero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osmundo Rivera's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Gomez Rodero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florinio Gallerreta, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Florinio Gallerreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osmundo Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Rodero having to interfere. With a little luck, Turbaquito's Froylan Oñatibia got control of the ball when Fernanco Fuentes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Osmundo Rivera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Cayo Bravo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Cuchara's Gomez Rodero. Gomez Rodero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osmundo Rivera struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Gomez Rodero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turbaquito. 90 minutes into the match, Cuchara's goal looked a bit too open when Osmundo Rivera came free, but Gomez Rodero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beila Isoba during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Beila Isoba kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Gomez Rodero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmundo Rivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Florinio Gallerreta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gomez Rodero. Cuchara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florinio Gallerreta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Cuchara's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
