A collision led to Urania FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Mergildo Pedronera hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Urania FC defense, Liberto Irisarri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cordairo Orozco. The Urania FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cordairo Orozco should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Chaguarurco FC's Chorche Poblaciones got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Chaguarurco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oinatz Yzarra came free, but Gumaro Dopazo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cordairo Orozco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Sisquella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Ahumada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristos Taramona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gumaro Dopazo having to interfere. Cordairo Orozco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chorche Poblaciones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Nereo Ahumada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urania FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Ahumada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gumaro Dopazo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Filipe Sisquella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Urania FC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Sotes. In the 40th minute, Liberto Irisarri made a precise shot to the right of Cordairo Orozco. Urania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Chaguarurco FC's zone, Zuri Alaejos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gumaro Dopazo came out of the goal and Zuri Alaejos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nereo Ahumada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Oinatz Yzarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Mergildo Pedronera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordairo Orozco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liberto Irisarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With his leg Gumaro Dopazo managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Urania FC's Nereo Ahumada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cordairo Orozco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chorche Poblaciones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Urania FC's Tristan Cerezo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Nereo Ahumada's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Gumaro Dopazo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 89th minute, Maraman Castelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nereo Ahumada came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Urania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Ahumada couldn't finish the play. Gumaro Dopazo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Ahumada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 97 played minutes, Urania FC's Tristan Cerezo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gumaro Dopazo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Urania FC reached it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chaguarurco FC had won after a very even match.
