The Real Frontera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lesardo Arizabalo should have stopped the shot. Lesardo Arizabalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Velosa in the 32nd minute of play. Real Frontera's Licerio Gamboa got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mogel Santibañez got free in front of the goal in the 39th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Oinaz Bulnes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Licerio Gamboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Oinaz Bulnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lesardo Arizabalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Conchas in the 43rd minute of play. Lesardo Arizabalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Velosa in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mogel Santibañez to strike the kick off in the second half. JUNIR DU's Oinaz Bulnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mogel Santibañez in the 54th minute of play. Enaut Sonibas hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Real Frontera's Belarmo Rosabel got a free kick in the 70th minute. Mogel Santibañez might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oinaz Bulnes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mogel Santibañez ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonel Conchas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natanael Velosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lesardo Arizabalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
