Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuelo Roca started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Valledupar got a freekick which was hit by Duardo Baez. Hugo Almodovar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuelo Roca in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, Jerigua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Loyola to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Feliberto Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duardo Baez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliberto Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Valledupar's Maore Espineiro got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Yiyo Bolado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Almodovar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chico Limon during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chico Limon kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes, Jerigua FC's Yiyo Bolado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Almodovar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jerigua FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuelo Roca in the 41st minute of play forced Valledupar's goalkeeper Hugo Almodovar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Duardo Baez made the kick off in the second half. Hugo Almodovar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artaldo Cogollor went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute Manuelo Roca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Almodovar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valledupar's Chico Limon got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Chico Limon off the ground. Manuelo Roca let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 75th minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. In the 83rd minute, Manuelo Roca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Jacinto Florez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jerigua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Florez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 92 in the game by Artaldo Cogollor from a close distance when the talented Hugo Almodovar managed to make a qualified save. Valledupar's players were relieved. In the 93rd minute, Manny Cascallana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artaldo Cogollor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
