Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chico Limon started the match with the kick off. Maore Espineiro's late challenge caught a Sipi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maore Espineiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Valledupar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maore Espineiro to maneuver through the defense. When Jacindo Oquendo fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sipi FC's protests and gave Jacindo Oquendo a yellow card for diving instead. Duardo Baez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alberto Risel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sipi FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Desire Sarro hit a great ball. Duardo Baez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Risel having to interfere. If Chico Limon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duardo Baez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Risel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Valledupar's Chico Limon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Risel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sipi FC's Desire Sarro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Limon in the 28th minute of play forced Sipi FC's goalkeeper Alberto Risel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Limon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Risel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Valledupar's Hustaz Lastras got a free kick in the 40th minute. Chico Limon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Risel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Chorache Baneros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Gonzales made a kick off. Chico Limon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alberto Risel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sipi FC's Alberto Risel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Sipi FC from getting a goal against them. Alberto Risel made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Duardo Baez sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th match minute, Valledupar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Limon to maneuver through the defense. Desire Sarro was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 65 played minutes Sipi FC got a freekick which was hit by Desire Sarro. After a rather tough play, Sipi FC's Teodosio Cribell got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Chico Limon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Risel made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Duardo Baez sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Sipi FC booed when Valledupar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orkatz Baldes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Chico Limon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sipi FC's Alberto Risel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Limon in the 82nd minute of play forced Sipi FC's goalkeeper Alberto Risel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Chico Limon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Risel was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. If Duardo Baez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Chico Limon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Risel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Sipi FC's goalkeeper Alberto Risel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duardo Baez. Sipi FC's Chorache Baneros got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
