Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Desire Reigada started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Gitano Labarrita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cajambre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gitano Labarrita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Veradal's zone, Gitano Labarrita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berenguer Ayensa came out of the goal and Gitano Labarrita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cajambre FC's Adrio Castriciones got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Zamanillo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrio Castriciones in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berenguer Ayensa saved Veradal from getting behind. Veradal's Berenguer Ayensa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrio Castriciones in the 19th minute of play. Eloi Isazi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desire Reigada, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Bayas during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute Adrio Castriciones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berenguer Ayensa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrio Castriciones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Berenguer Ayensa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gitano Labarrita in the 35th minute of play forced Veradal's goalkeeper Berenguer Ayensa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gilabert Antuñano fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veradal's protests and gave Gilabert Antuñano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, Veradal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilabert Antuñano to maneuver through the defense. Gitano Labarrita scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berenguer Ayensa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gitano Labarrita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Inocente Berdugo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Veradal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrio Castriciones to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Veradal got a freekick which was hit by Gilabert Antuñano. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gitano Labarrita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cajambre FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gitano Labarrita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berenguer Ayensa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Cajambre FC's Adrio Castriciones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Berenguer Ayensa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrio Castriciones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Berenguer Ayensa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inocente Berdugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Cajambre FC's Adrio Castriciones ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Berenguer Ayensa. Berenguer Ayensa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Desire Reigada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. When Gitano Labarrita came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Cajambre FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gitano Labarrita couldn't finish the play.
