Gil Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mingo Gijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. CAPOS's Gil Carrizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save CAPOS from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Ilixo Ochoa put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in CAPOS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Gil Carrizo, was totally fooled by Espejuelo's Sol Pantigoso, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Lohitzun Cortiguera charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lohitzun Cortiguera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Espejuelo got a freekick which was hit by Lohitzun Cortiguera. Ponciano Cuesta charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Espejuelo's Ponciano Cuesta got a free kick in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Jimeno Sanjuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Gil Carrizo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mingo Gijon to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mingo Gijon in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Carrizo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimeno Sanjuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Carrizo having to interfere. Gil Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mingo Gijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ponciano Cuesta was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Silvanito Gostioz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Jimeno Sanjuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordi Antoñano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urdin Launda in the 71st minute. Jimeno Sanjuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Carrizo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimeno Sanjuan ran back to his position shaking his head. Mingo Gijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gil Carrizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimeno Sanjuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimeno Sanjuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes, Cristofol Cunyat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espejuelo and the CAPOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristofol Cunyat kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Lluis Queiruga kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Espejuelo's Mingo Gijon got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Jimeno Sanjuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Carrizo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Espejuelo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
