After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Pio Gimilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guadrahuma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pio Gimilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Barona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ximun Benero's late challenge caught a Guadrahuma FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ximun Benero helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Arauco's zone, Pio Gimilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Barona came out of the goal and Pio Gimilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Weather Chirinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Zuhaitz Amada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Guadrahuma FC's zone, Weather Chirinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zuhaitz Amada came out of the goal and Weather Chirinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Weather Chirinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Zuhaitz Amada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pio Gimilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Arauco's goal looked a bit too open when Cayo Morillas came free, but Jorge Barona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Barona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayo Morillas in the 20th minute of the match. Cayo Morillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arauco's Jorge Barona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayo Morillas in the 26th minute of play. Marques Viurra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuhaitz Amada having to interfere. Jorge Barona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayo Morillas in the 35th minute of play. If Pio Gimilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Guadrahuma FC's Pio Gimilio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Barona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pio Gimilio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Barona having to make a save. Arauco's Jorge Barona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Arauco from getting a goal against them. Jorge Barona was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodriguez Euque showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 49 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richie Urtaran made a kick off. Jorge Barona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pio Gimilio's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richie Urtaran in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zuhaitz Amada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Weather Chirinos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Zuhaitz Amada when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Pio Gimilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pio Gimilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urti Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urti Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Urtaran in the 71st minute of play forced Guadrahuma FC's goalkeeper Zuhaitz Amada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zuhaitz Amada made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Weather Chirinos sent off a good shot on target. Arauco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guadrahuma FC the free kick. When Guadrahuma FC's Cayo Morillas in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
