Eguntsenti Villerias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Turaba's goal looked a bit too open when Edorta Salvia came free, but Eguntsenti Villerias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Librado Pozuelos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zarzurro the free kick. When Zarzurro's Edorta Salvia in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Turaba's goalie prevented a goal. Eguntsenti Villerias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edorta Salvia in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Donato Turres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zarzurro the free kick. After 22 played minutes Turaba got a freekick which was hit by Donato Turres. After a defensive mix-up in Turaba's zone, Ramone Davalos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eguntsenti Villerias came out of the goal and Ramone Davalos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes of play, Zarzurro's Edorta Salvia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eguntsenti Villerias was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Edorta Salvia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dario Velez's late challenge caught a Turaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Velez helped the player get up and apologised. Dario Velez kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Turaba's Rik Devesa got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristofol Berdugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Ramone Davalos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cristofol Berdugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Edorta Salvia made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hondo Vilela got free with Eguntsenti Villerias in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Turaba's Eguntsenti Villerias got control of the ball when Hondo Vilela tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edorta Salvia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eguntsenti Villerias having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Hondo Vilela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zarzurro and the Turaba players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Zarzurro got a freekick which was hit by Hondo Vilela. After 63 played minutes, Turaba's Bidari Oznayo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xosepe Bueldi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Turaba reached it. Xosepe Bueldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Turres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Ramone Davalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rik Devesa in the 73rd minute of play forced Zarzurro's goalkeeper Xosepe Bueldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xosepe Bueldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Turres in the 77th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Hondo Vilela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramone Davalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cristofol Berdugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Ramone Davalos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zarzurro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramone Davalos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rik Devesa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xosepe Bueldi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Donato Turres hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Zarzurro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
