After 9 minutes, Filomeno Hordas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Masharrerain and the The Animal Generation players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute Gogo Casanande managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 12th minute, Donato Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rocendo Gallinar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Raulo Berberana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Rocendo Gallinar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cordaro Teijeira was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Rocendo Gallinar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cordaro Teijeira. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rocendo Gallinar was the one to do the kick off. Pueblo Benitez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ceandro Perrote came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Masharrerain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceandro Perrote couldn't finish the play. Rocendo Gallinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cordaro Teijeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Rocendo Gallinar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Ysmael Cartagena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Masharrerain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Animal Generation the free kick. In the 67th minute, one of Masharrerain:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Masharrerain. After a rather tough play, The Animal Generation's Apolo Urtiaga got a free kick in the 75th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Masharrerain's Oihan Goyo tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Pueblo Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordaro Teijeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raulo Berberana in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Masharrerain getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Oihan Goyo hit a great ball. The referee gave The Animal Generation a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Apolo Urtiaga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Masharrerain's Cordaro Teijeira. 3-0. Raulo Berberana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordaro Teijeira having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the The Animal Generation players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
