A collision led to millonarios FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mario Viguera hit a great ball. When Eate Escarza came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Lagartera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eate Escarza couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Lagartera booed when millonarios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Viguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Lando Bernabeytia made a precise shot to the right of Betadur Ondarra. Lagartera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 34 minutes, Xines Inchaurdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagartera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xines Inchaurdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Danzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eate Escarza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Eate Escarza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Danzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Tximitx Mondrevilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeru Astoreca charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagartera's goalkeeper Betadur Ondarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mario Viguera got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Mario Viguera kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Omar Socarras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teo Danzo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Xines Inchaurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lando Bernabeytia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betadur Ondarra having to interfere. If Lando Bernabeytia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
